What is a Spacemask?

A Spacemask is a jasmine infused self heating cotton eye mask which will transport you to another dimension – relieving tiredness, eye strain and many other Earthly tensions.

With two cotton ear loops to keep your Spacemask safely over your eyes, your mask can be worn for a a short period for a relaxing power nap, eye rest, place to hide from the kids, or to help you drift off into quite possibly the best night’s sleep you have ever had, as it is perfectly safe to fall asleep in and wear all night. How do they work?

The heating process works by a thin layer of iron filings entwining with the oxygen molecules in the air. It is totally safe. The ever so relaxing jasmine is in a low concentration. So you can enjoy its fragrance without irritating the skin.

What do I do with one?

Open the foil pouch and unfold your mask.  Gently place the Spacemask over your eyes and fit the loops around your ears.

Within a couple of minutes you’ll feel you Spacemask heat up as the oxygen molecules in the atmosphere cuddle up to the mask’s iron particles in a natural heat exchange.

Drift off as you enjoy approximately 15 minutes of other-wordly warmth while your mind floats in space. (Or fall asleep…..)

A quick websearch will take you to endless pages of 5* reviews of this product.  Some by large well known companies, international magazines and the like…         I’m always sceptical about such reviews so here is mine –

I’ve used a Spacemask three times.  The first time I lay back on my bed and after a few seconds felt the fabric across my eyes start to warm up, I soon smelt the fragrance of Jasmine – not overpoweringly (and strong smells give me a migraine, I’m quite a sensitive little soul) and I just zoned out, did some meditative breathing and dozed for half an hour – and I’m not a person who can have a cat nap etc I actually suffer regularly from insomnia and take prescription sleeping pills or Nitol most nights.  The second time, I fell asleep, it was around and I’d gone to bed early to read, no reading was done and I woke up the following morning in the same position, although I did stay awake long enough to feel it’s warmth and to enjoy the fragrance, last night was the third – sound asleep before the Jasmine was released – no sleeping pills either night so felt marvelous the next day and I’m sure my eye bags were reduced too!

Following my experience (Sian), I have gifted some to Kate and Sophie to try.  I think it would be important to say these might well be addictive – although being cheaper than a daily coffee or wine addiction!
